There are sensational markets every weekend in Ballarat where you can snap up everything from trash and treasure to local produce.
One of our favourites is the Lake Wendourie Farmers Market held from 9am to 1pm the 2nd and last Saturday of every month. Set in scenic surrounds on the banks of the lake, you can wander through the myriad of stallholders wjile enjoying live music and a lively atmosphere.
In keeping with a commitment to the environment this is a plastic bag free market so please bring your own bags or trolley.
